Those who are going to be spending time on the water need to know that it will be cooler when they are on the water than it would be if they were on the shore, and they need to dress appropriately with that in mind.

Those who are going to take part in watersports need to make sure that they know what type of weather is coming. A person should check the forecast over and over again in the days leading up to their water adventure. No one wants to be out on the water in a kayak when a big storm comes in. It is important for a person to know what type of weather they should be expecting so that they know how long they should be able to be safe while out on the water.
